Some of these tech companies are worse than a stage five clinger or an ex who wont leave you alone.
Ebay sends me an email asking me to "Sign in to keep my account"
"We noticed it’s been a while since you last signed in.
We plan to close your account to help keep your personal information safe. If you want to keep your account, all you need to do is sign in within the next 30 days."
Okay fine, so I try to sign in, and pretty sure it's the same computer I signed in last time btw and they hit me with this.
They want me to fucking call them! No verification email? No SMS? I'm actually happy they're not asking me to setup 2FA but they want me to fucking call them? Really?
I think I'd rather let them close my account and I'll just open a new one if I ever actually need it again. Easier solution!
If you work at Ebay, I advise you to either find another job or maybe just kill yourself becuase it seems like the platform is dying. Did I mention they ruined Kijiji too?
